Dr. Thomas Frey served as Chief Operating Officer for Europe since June 2001 and has also served as Vice President of ICON Clinical Operations Europe from January 2000 to May 2001. He now holds the position of President, ICON Development Solutions.

Dr. Frey has 18 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development. He started his career in 1987 with Hoechst Pharmaceuticals. From 1995 to the end of 1999 he was Senior Director of Clinical Development Europe at Hoechst Marion Roussel. Dr. Frey received his medical degree in 1980 from the University of Heidelberg.

Dr Marion joined ICON in August 2009 from MDS Pharma Services and has 9 years’ experience as a principal investigator on over 250 Phase I studies. These have included first in man, radiolabeled, dose escalation, bio-equivalence and drug interaction studies.

Dr. Marion received his Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College, New York, with a major in Chemistry. He proceeded to earn a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1972 and went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska in 1975.

Holly Baker joined ICON in 2009, and is responsible for overseeing the Omaha volunteer database, local recruitment advertising and outreach, and leading our team of Volunteer Recruiters. Holly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2001. She has over 8 years of marketing, advertising and management experience, most recently in Phase I research.
